It and Charlie Brown and the Grinch have to be among my favorites. I have watched "It's a Wonderful Life" too many times and have vowed not to watch it until I'm 50.

I really like the George C. Scott version of Scrooge. And it's nicely surprising to see David Warner in a sympathetic role!knoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13231876226573540476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7268985416439660021.post-34325578335776528022008-12-26T14:40:00.002-08:002008-12-26T14:40:00.002-08:00lol, Troop! In my house, it would've been Die Hard!...lol, Troop!

In my house, it would've been Die Hard!blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05430444326700437630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7268985416439660021.post-19188078258663738642008-12-26T14:40:00.001-08:002008-12-26T14:40:00.001-08:00Excellent choice, Trooper!Excellent choice, Trooper!Darcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05642443487136176511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7268985416439660021.post-37444037270194865102008-12-26T14:40:00.000-08:002008-12-26T14:40:00.000-08:00Alistair Sims, I think, is generally considered th...Alistair Sims, I think, is generally considered the best.

Though I'm rather fond of Albert Finney.blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05430444326700437630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7268985416439660021.post-88028690647822828042008-12-26T14:31:00.000-08:002008-12-26T14:31:00.000-08:00We had a problem at the Christmas feast. Of course one of the brother-in-laws had to grab the remote and a rumpus broke out over what Christmas movie to put on. It's a Wonderful Life, The Christmas Story, The Santa Clause, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and The Grinch were all on at the same time. Since my father-in-law and I both love that movie, that is what we saw.

You can always count on the Duke.Trooper Yorkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01978703998566102194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7268985416439660021.post-26171002389811958462008-12-26T14:12:00.000-08:002008-12-26T14:12:00.000-08:00This moment in the film always makes me giggle and...This moment in the film always makes me giggle and smile...especially in one of the older versions...I'll have to look up which one it is where the actor does this just right.Darcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05642443487136176511noreply@blogger.com
