Lisbeth actually began to grate ...*Spoilers ahead*<br /><br />Lisbeth actually began to grate on my nerves towards the end. I agree the movie makes the two of them a little too cozy but it stays faithful to the book in that her heart is broken at the end. My problem with the movie - and the book - was that was started out as a corking good mystery dissolved into the old serial-killer trope. Yawn. And while Skarsgaard may be subdued, as you say, when he appears, he's been so typecast you just know he's the killer.<br /><br />I enjoyed the atmosphere and the setting more than anything. Craig is too physical for the role, I'm with you on Plummer, but I still don't see what the fuss is with Mara.
