Although the cinematography and photography is really great considering it was done on the cheap, the plot and the writing was childish and deriviative to the max. I hated to break it to him so I told him I enjoyed it. But he really, really was ploughing a well ploughed furrow. No spark or insight like most of these films you are talking about.<br /><br />That's why I stick with my westerns. Rent the Magificent Seven or Fort Apache of She Wore a Yellow Ribbon or even Gunfight at OK Corral. I bet the boy will enjoy them. Or the Great Escape or Bullit or The Cincinatti Kid or the Getaway for the Steve McQueen rush.
