Ooh, I hope they're not all super-vanilla type horrors. I like the different ones, even if they're not great. Last year's Mulberry Street was wonderfully atmospheric in the relatively unused horror location of Brooklyn. (Or is it the Bronx? I forget.)
Last year's theme? Leggy brunettes in their underwear.
This year's theme? Bear traps used on humans.
I prefer the brunettes. Sure, it's cliché, but so is the bear trap thing.
Including us, 4-5 people in the theater in toto for the 6PM show. The 2pm one had 8-10. How can they afford this?
The IMDB times are wrong. Also, they start the movies early! They did this last year, too.
Three movies and no Rider Strong. I hope he's feeling well.

Actually, I think Mulberry St. took place on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Am I wrong?
ReplyDeleteNo, I think you're right. The B-word I was looking for was "The Bowery". I think that's in the same ballpark.
ReplyDeleteI should ask Trooper York.
I think you're right: it's more the Bowery than the Lower East Side.
