Falling Further Behind...

OK, we've seen Iron Man 2, Harry Brown and The Complete Metropolis.

I will get to them....soon? Eventually? Someday?

  1. The hurrier I go the behinder I get. --Midwestern folk wisdom.

You've been busy lately so you have a good excuse. I haven't seen any of those yet but I'll probably see Iron Man 2 this weekend.

  2. Given your situation last fall, I'm glad you're so busy! Still, I really, really miss your posts, and not just the movie reviews.

  3. All in good time.

I have to wonder what Harry Browne would have thought of Harry Brown. Or vice versa. I'd like to get the two of them, and me, and you, together for lunch at Harry Browne's, to get all that sorted out. If we could persuade Harry Potter (or Fredric Brown) to join us, it could get even more interesting.

  4. And then there's this, about "Harry Brown": Yet another reason to love Michael Caine:

AVC: It has drawn criticism for presenting what some have called a “Daily Mail take” on things—that it’s tabloid fear-mongering.

MC: That was exactly the reaction. Because one of the things is that if you’re a Socialist newspaper, well, the Socialists have been in power for 12 years, and these are the very poorest people in England, and this is what’s happened to them. So you’ve got to say it’s a load of crap.

  5. Hey you have to blog on your own schedule. Life gets in the way sometimes.

  6. Thanks, Reader--

    That means a lot!

  7. Hector--

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing: Could they have picked a more generic name? I guess that was sort of the point.

  8. Thanks, Troop. I've been reading your blog but having difficulty finding time for commenting, too.

  9. You'll have to resort to "One Thumb Up!" or "One Thumb Down!"
