RocknRolla The Vote

The Boy was quite depressed over McCain's loss tonight so we went to see the Guy Ritchie flick.

It's a bit slow in the start. I've been embroiled in a political office controversy--well, maybe not embroiled, but emsinged, anyway--so I actually had trouble staying awake in the beginning. It picks up, and is really moving by the end.

The Boy likes the gangster stuff, so that was good. I'll do a more comprehensive review later.

  1. Funny that you are so moderated in your political leanings, yet your son is obviously, well, decisive. Not that you are indecisive, but you know what I mean.

Me, I'm not moderate much at all anymore. I am going to try real hard not to get ODS. But it's going to be hard to be gracious to people who... oh, never mind, I'm starting already.

  2. The Boy has strong opinions to be sure.

    I'm just older.

My opinions are just as strong, but I'm more patient, and consider the problem of politics to be, believe it or not apolitical.

In other words, while reasonable people can disagree given the same set of facts, what we really have is identification of thought.

That's why we, as a society, do the same things over and over again, even when they don't work. And that's really the problem that needs solving.

    Can't disagree!
