Mysteries of the North Pole Revealed!

Some of the more economically-minded children might ask:

Q: If Santa Claus makes the presents, why do they have Parker Bros, Milton Bradley or whatever company's logo on them?

A: Outsourcing. Toy manufacturing companies exchange toy designs for use of Santa's massive manufacturing facilities and skilled (but free!) elf laborers.

  1. I would hate to be the one to break it to the kids that all of Santa's elves are actually Chinese.

  2. I told my grand daughter that and she got all upset.

Of course she got even more upset when the conversation veered into the fact that Chinese people or Korean people like to eat dogs. She got all worried about her puppy.

But I told not to worry since the dog is named Chewy.

They only went after puppies named Tender and left the ones alone that were chewy.

  3. Elves are cheaper than Chinese! That's how Santa competes!

Food's not as good though. "Dog a la legolas" just doesn't compare to "kung pao pooch".

Grab an umbrella. Unleash hell. Your mileage may vary. Results not typical. If swelling continues past four hours, consult a physician.
